Miller Dynamo.
#1
Hi there mates, Warm greetings.
It felt great to be here.

Well I am seeking your advise given relative lack of knowledge.
I have a Miller DynamoNo. 32

There is a screw cap which I guess is for positive wire.
Can you please suggest which one is -ve? Is it the Anchor hold screw of the Dynamo (that secures it to the bicycle frame) ?

Your informed reply and guidance is much appreciated.

Warm regards
Deb

Welcome Deb,

That unit completes the circuit through the frame Jen mounted so only 1 wire connection. That is an old unit. What is it being mounted to? Does it have the integrated rear light?

Hope it works OK.
Take care,
Jesper

Hey Jesper,
Many thanks for the reply.
I am restoring my grandfather's Humber to its old glory. So re-fitting the dynamo.
Warm regards

@Gobiking, I had figured that to be an old dynamo. If you don't know what year the bike is, you may be able to determine it from the date code stamped onto the the rear hub barrel (if original to the bike and a Sturmey-Archer internally geared hub). I would love to see a photo of it when you get a chance. Thanks!
Take care,
Jesper
