Looking for information.

I got this bike from a neighbor and I want to know what make /model it is. I would like to get it in tip top shape. Any help is much appreciated. The only marking on it are the ones on the hand grips. Thanks in advance.

Hunt Wilde Corporation used to specialize in vinyl handlebar grips. they were the market leaders in fact, so many bikes had these grips and it won't help much in your case unfortunately.

are there other markings by any chance, perhaps a serial number somewhere (crank underside)? and did the neighbor mention anything when handing over the bike?
