Spacer hope pf41 bb

Hi, I need some help. I am installing a hope pf41 bb (with inner tube) on my 2019 Jeffsy (89.5mm, 24 mm, e13 trs crank with 3mm spacer on drive) The manual tells me that I have to install a 2.5 mm spacer on the drive side. The original BB did not have spacers. So the chainline will change with the spacer right? What to do?

Personally, if you install without the spacer, where frame fit and chainline are satisfactory; than I would go that way. You can always add a spacer if necessary. Was the 3mm spacer required or used for personal alignment preferences?
