Is this Giant Cadex 2 Carbon bike worth buying?

I can buy it for 300USD and i am looking to buy a vintage road bike. The owner says it is from 1992 or 1993. 14 gears and Shimano 105.

They were very nice bicycles in the day, Good solid groupset, Price not to bad as long as it does not need a ton of stuff like bartape, brake pads, cables/housing, tires/tubes. look it ove good. make sure in runs out nice, check rims for wear/dents, look over every inch for carbon cracks/separation at joints. If all looks good and it is a good fit and you can deal with the retro downtube shifters then go for it. Never hurts to try and get the price down some, all they can say is no. I have a Specialized 1990 carbon 105 Epic Allez myself. I love it! I always love the Giants also, almost bought one new back then. great ride.

Thank you for the useful feedback. I am trying to get it for 200USD, but he is not going to sell under 300USD. He originally wanted 400USD.
