I'd take this beauty on a ride down to Sydney, from Brisbane for a week long bike trip with a couple of mates.

I would ride from North Berwick to Longformacus via East Linton, Garvald, Danskine and back through the Lammermuir Hills. About 26 miles each way, fairly hilly but very scenic. Return journey's not too bad though, mostly downhill!

I would love to ride this awesome bike with my kid. We live near to a great country road right beside a river. There are some awesome off road sections that would be perfect for this.
