Everesting world record
#1
Oh wow.
Former pro cyclist Phillip Gaimon (two seasons in WT with Garmin and Cannondale teams) set a new world record for Everesting by biking the total elevation of 29029 feet or 8848 meters (mt Everest) in 7h52m, on LA's Mountaingate Drive.

Average 280 watts.

So there are some rules. Buchmann from BoraHansgrohe team failed his attempt because:

1. his elapsed time was slower; they don't consider the moving time
2. he did not ascend the same climb and went up the mountain from the other side

U.S. MTB champion Keegan Swenson is still the current record holder.
