Bike lines @San Diego
#1
Noticed this on reddit, so I'm reposting the photo.

New bicycle lines in San Diego downtown; seem to be well separated and protected from the car lines. Do you have other examples from recently developed/built/restructured bike lines from all around the world? Please, share! Would be sweet to compare the practices in different parts of US & other continents.

Always nice to see fresh bike paths!
I wonder though if this one in the photo is designed for both directions. Looks wide, so must be for both ways.

Yes, people clarified that this lane is made for both ways, but I don't see the paint sign indicating that it's correct. Issue might be with the drivers ... not everyone will be aware of this when turning right.

You can't beat the Denmark's bicycle road system! If you have visited Copenhagen or any other of the top 5 cities in Denmark then you know what I mean. Well the Netherlands are another top class example.

That is exactly just like the main protected bike path thru down town Lincoln Ne. It also has its own stop lights.
