Annoying e-scooters
#1
hello. Went for a vacation to Prague (Czechia), beautiful city to say the least. But hand-in-hand with the large tourist crowds there was another rather negative observation during the otherwise pleasant trip. The one and only, e-scooters. We personally saw a gang of three e-scooterists cruising into a narrow tunnel (intensive traffic, dark & long tunnel) in front of a public bus, on the main road. Soon after there were honk sounds and I assume angry drivers. Also, another episode almost ended with a cyclist hitting the tarmac as some possibly toxicated scooterist cut the cyclists way. Not gonna even mention how they slalom through the pedestrian crowds. Had to let my tiny anger out Smile

- what is your view about escooter boom in the big cities (US, Europe)?
- are there smart solutions to reduce all the safety risk for others involved in the traffic/simply pedestrians & scooterists themselves?

But have you seen this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt1Pcb2cnEw
These escooter economics aren't that good, especially knowing how much moneeey all these companies have gotten in funding.

E-scooters are all OK until the moment when those drunks try to drive them in complete blur.
