Anyone here have tips for good looking & safe of course budget road helmet -> I do fitness rides around Long Island. Would not want to go over $100. Thanks.

I'm personally a Giro guy (got Giro Foray couple years ago for around 56USD, very satisfied and it looks great), so here are some smooth helmets for inspiration. Can find something for that price:

Men: https://www.giro.com/en/men/mens-bike/mens-bike-helmets/c/giro-men-bike-helmet?q=%3Arelevance%3Acategory%3Agiro-men-bike-helmet-road
Women: https://www.giro.com/en/women/womens-bike/womens-bike-helmets/c/giro-women-bike-helmet?q=%3Arelevance%3Acategory%3Agiro-women-bike-helmet-road

Lazer is also well received here in Europe, more among the serious amateur racers and pros.

would you consider buying the Specialised Sierra for 24.99 GBP? I saw it on a British website

I am curious as to your feedback regarding your helmet after a couple years of use (if still being used). How is the comfort regarding fit and cooling; any negatives (e.I . noisy, poor design feature, etc.)?

Thank you. I am thinking of starting a thread specifically related to helmets.
Take care,
Jesper
