I have terrible luck with the the rubber cushions on cleats. Because I kept wearing out the rubber inserts on Red cleats, I changed to Shimano PD pedals. Now I have problems with the little yellow pads falling off those cleats!! My question : Is it because I buy the $5.00 deals on EBay? If I go for the $18/20.00 sets will I solve my problem? I don't mind paying the higher price if it cures the problem, but they all look the same and I don't want to pay the extra and get the same thing.
