My new fixie/freewheel
#1
assembled it to day. set up for freewheel. this is the xlarge  for my 6'1" rack of bones.
everything went good. had to loosen the headset as it was binding. chain may be a bit loose but will ride it before I change it. wheels were quite good. probably could be trued up a little to be perfect. tires are nylon and take 100lbs. will probably add a front brake. but for $C225 delivered from China  to California I suspect, then to Winnipeg and then to Vancouver it was a pretty fine deal. i would certainly do it again.[Image: peu_20150803_1627.jpg_zpsaamekoem.png~original]

I just got back from a quick ride and am impressed. I had to raise the seat 2" and adjust the BMX bars. by far the lightest bike I have owned. 23lbs I believe.  I can see why they are back ordered all the time.

I live in the Fraser River Delta, full of rich farm land and Sockeye Salmon ( vegetarian eating fish btw.) The land is completely flat. I could just feel the legs muscles a tiny bit heading into the breeze.

Today I saw a fixie, running freewheel, that had gone to a body shop and painted Ferrari Red with the Ferarri logo's on it. Looked real nice. Anyway it's a keeper for sure. I hope you get to ride one some day PK.
