What if your new rear Dérailleur

has no cable adjustment barrel?

Pics would be nice, some have them on the shifter's or the frame will have an inline barrel adjuster that will serve the same purpose.

None on these shifters, I will take better photos tomorrow Painkiller, many thanks for the reply. By the way my left shoulder is killing me with pain, been on this PC to long tonight.

No adjusters is unfortunately quite common now on new RDs; if your shifter doesn't have one, then one of your few options is an in-line adjuster.

Here is the EXPENSIVE Shimano version: http://www.amazon.com/Shimano-SM-CA70--line-Cable-Adjuster/dp/B005WBCDBG/

They get more for the adjusters than they do for the RD......
