There are lots of level of quality between shimano accessories such as Tiagra, Xtr.. and also same thing for Sram. Could you advice me the correct hierarchy between models acc to price. And advice a bike for both road and trail usage. Thanks in advance.. http://bikebest.net/versus/

how much are you willing to spend? That will determine a lot of your choices right off the bat. what do you mean exactly by "Trail". You will have more options to customize to suit you better by sticking with an 8 speed drivetrain. buying new late models can save you money too.

This is a typical example of how I go about creating a bicycle suited for me. New old stock late model Marin. typical for today's $550 list MTB. I buy two. I have about $230 in each. great bike at Walmart prices. I sold one in the box for $300. $70 which leaves me @ $160 for the other bike. Now I start to build to suit. I want a road triple and a tighter rear cluster. I change the rear derailleur, cluster, Crankset 30/40/52 rings. Mtb tough and and as fast on the street as one could ever be, but yet still capable of trail use too. after pulling off the new components, selling those and adding the new for the Mod, I have roughly $240 in my new build, just the way I want it.

I would look for a 90's mountan bike with a chromoly frame and put hybrid tires on. I currently have a Trek 830 but there are other good bike brands as well . Look for one with shimano parts as bike shops have lots of Shimano  replacement parts.

NOT !!

There is no really "quality" difference between different levels of Shimano or SRAM components. The cost difference is due to volume and lightness (lighter = more money). A $15- TX55 RD will last as longer, probably longer than a $90- Deore XT RD. The XT is around 2/3rds the weight, Shimano makes and sell a hundred or more TX55 models for every XT.
