Presta valve broken
#1
While removing the pump head after pumping, the presta valve got broken. I then reinserted the pump to check whether it can sill be pumped, and all of a sudden the remaining needle is lost ( might have gone inside the tube). Is there any way to fix it without changing the whole tube?

And if I need to change the tube, then what would be the tube size? My bike is Giant OCR3 2009 model.

You need a new tube.

What is the tire size? Look on the tire for some numbers like: 37-622 or 40-559 or 700c x 28 or 26 x 1.75 From that information, you can determine which tubes will work.

When removing the valve chuck, ALWAYS hold on to the valve stem with your other hand.

Looks like a 25mm 700c (25 x 622)

Thanks guys. It is 700c x 25. My local store only sell 700c x 19/23. Would this tube cause any problem?

700 x 23 tube will be fine.
Generally no problem to use a tube that's slightly narrow (the second number is the width)

Or slightly larger; ± 20% is okay; butyl rubber stretches a great deal. My front tire on my WT is a 28-630; and the tube inside is intended for 35 to 45 - 622.
