Chain Stuck behind pedal
#1
Hi
A link of my chain is wedged behind my pedal and frame. What is the best method of releasing the chain link?

You have two choices:
1. pedal back the other way and force it out. This may scratch your frame further, but most of the damage has probably already been done. Probably not a big issue unless you have a carbon frame
2. remove the crank arm on that side and free the chain without further damage. This requires a crank removal tool.
