When to apply decals
#1
I'm re-painting my Romic frame. I've just sprayed the second color coat. Is this the time to apply decals, then clear coat? Or should I clear coat the entire frame, apply decals and shoot a second clear coat?

Some people subscribe to each method. I'd go with clear coat, decal, clear coat.

If your paint has metallic flake in it and not a solid color I would recommend clear first or you will dull the metallic's when wet sanding.
then apply decals, when clearing, spot clear the decals, let dry, lightly wet sand (800 or 1000 grit ). This will help keep decals from wrinkling. then finish clearing the whole bike.
