Rubber pedals and toe clips
#1
I'm always on a road bike but I'm a casual city rider, i.e. I rock a pair of trainers or loafers when riding around.

Rubber pedals are a requirement for leather soled shoes otherwise they destroy the sole.

Does anyone have an idea of a leather sole friendly pedal that can mount a toe clip so I can have the best of all worlds?

You can pop one of the reflectors off of these and mount toe clips:
