Nexus 7 Shifters
#1
I am building a Front Wheel Drive Recumbent Trike using a Shimano Nexus 7 IGH. So far I have found that the cassette joint sent with the hub is for another model. It came with a 7 speed shifter attached. (Rapid Fire maybe?) I have changed the Cassette Joint to the newer 2 piece design instead of the older 3 piece metal parts & was wondering if anyone knows if these hubs came with a choice of shifters? i.e. Twist Grip, Thumb Shifters etc. as I have had to change the cassette joint I am wondering if there are other parts that might have to be changed too.
T.I.A. for your answers

Friction shifters is an option you can go with as it is forgivable with 7spd cluster.
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
