Want to cycle faster downhill
#1
Recently bought a giant mtb. When riding downhill the toughest gear is not tough enough so I can keep pedalling. Is there anyway I can make my gears harder so I can go faster downhill. Hope u all understand what I mean.

you can fit taller gears to any bike, just costs money.

after you answer pk's q's we can provide some good suggestions.

also show us a picture of your pedals.

Hi mate
my S/S bike is set up with 44 - 13T and I find I am able to pedal downhills and still not run out of stroke. All credit due to my clipless pedals and not having gears to rely on.
