Replacing Suntour Mountech front derailleur
#1
I have a 1984 Fuji Sundance MTB with a broken Suntour Mountech front derailleur. The outboard part of the cage broke off. I doubt that replacement parts are available for this FD. Can anyone recommend an appropriate new replacement FD? This is a 21-speed with 46/36/26T chain sprockets. Thanks much.

If you're looking for a really inexpensive replacement, the Shimano Tourney should work. That said, I'd recommend something a little better quality like a Shimano LX.

Thanks, Alex. Just what I was hoping to learn. Much appreciated.
