Name this part?
#1
I recently had a fall with my vintage (no idea what year) Hiawatha cruiser and bent the bolt holding the brake mechanism on. I checked a couple of area bike shops but they can't help me. Can anyone on here identify the part and perhaps point me in the direction of a place I might be able to get a replacement? I would rather not replace the whole brake as the bike is showing its age and I do not want to invest a ton of money in this one fix. Images can be found here:

"caliper pivot bolt"
Something like this might work: http://compare.ebay.com/like/230639844466?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&_lwgsi=y&cbt=y

However, you may be able to get a whole new brake caliper for not much more.

I think a little better quality brake is worth a few bucks, but you know your budget.

Note that you need to measure the "reach" of your brake (distance from the center of the pivot bolt to the center of the rim's braking surface and make sure it matches. Also note that front and rear bolts and calipers are different with a from brake usually having a longer bolt.

More information to support Dave:

brakes are inexpensive, and with the bolt damaged, other parts are HIGHLY likely to be damaged also.
