My Trek Y's
#1
Here are some pictures of my rides, a 1997 Trek Y5 and a 1997 Trek Y22. The pictures of them are "before" pictures. I have owned the Y5 for about a year, and have upgraded it, since I photographed it, with used Deore XT BR-M739 brakes & tri-compound pads, new Kenda Pathfinder tires & tubes, SRAM Attack trigger shifters, WTB Shadow V saddle, Wellgo WPD-M17C clipless/platform pedals, Kalin adjustable stem, and Ergon GC3-L grips. When I bought it the original tires still had the mold nubs on them! I love riding it. I know the Y-Frame is obsolete and alot of people like to dis them, but I am constantly meeting people who comment or question me on it. So when I came across the Y22 at a great price, I could not pass it up. The Y22 is my winter project this year, and I hope to have it ready by the St. Patrick's ride in Wauconda in March.

Ride on, keep on riding

Hello and welcome to BT if I did not say it. I have no bad things to say because I never seen or rode one Smile . If it runs good for you and fits you great then awesome. It is a pretty nice looking bike.
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
