I am currently searching for some decent front hub with 36 holes. I found this one: NS Bikes Rotary 9mm hub.
Can anyone say whether it's worth a shot? Any other front 36H you can recommend?
Thanks.
Well, it is quite lightweight (from what I found), seems to be robust enough. Still, Nigel is right: it is not cheap (definitely not)... However, since you are probably searching for something light and cool looking: yeah, why not (though I have no experience with it, so I cannot comment on how good it really is). Hope or ChrisKing might be other brands to look at. However, as Nigel mentioned for most applications a decent mid-range hub should be sufficient, but I have to admit that my bikes are more functional than eye-catchers...
Well, I found it in the "MTB hub" section, although I must say it does look like a BMX hub.
I am more into classic 36H hubs for none-disc brake use, with sealed bearings, like the one you mentioned.
Don't really understand why they are producing 32H hubs anyway.
Say, can Shimano FH-M770 Deore XT rear hub and SRAM 8-speed cogset work together?
Yeah, SRAM cassettes work on Shimano hubs. Mid-range Shimano hubs are nice (but they are cup and cone bearings usually).
