Front wheel not free
#1
The front wheel on my mtn bike isn't spinning as freely as it should when off the ground. I'm not sure if there is friction between the brake disc and pads (juicy 5 brake system) or if there is an issue w/ the axle. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

well, sounds like you've got a good idea of what might cause a problem like that. Start trouble shooting. If you don't have a bike stand or rack, flip the bike upside down. Then spin your front wheel. Eye the rotors first to see if there is any friction on the pads. Then maybe check to make sure the wheel is seated on the for correctly, so loosen the skewer all the way and spin it again.
