Wow!!! That is a nice bike there Bill. Smile Most of the components are the same as what is on my Super LeTour. Looks like the tires are original too, meaning not a lot of use. Schwinn put slicks on their road-racing bikes back then. I like that seat post. Sun Tour AR derailleurs! It's got the quick-release brake cables and axles. And you are right the color looks the same as well. I'm sure that one will be your main riding bike for many years.

Thanks,
Steve

I see two things you have that I don't, the GX lettering on the QR for the brakes (makes the bike faster lol joke) and the down tube shifters. I am wandering if they both have the same specs on the drive train. Worth me actually looking. I see you listed yours so I will take a gander and get those posted.

Still have not got them yet, just wanted to say that I decided to look at a Schwinn Carbon Fiber of today and it weighs in at like 32lbs!!! I did want to say I still have to get inside of mine before I take it for a ride. Here is a list of the things I am looking at getting for it..

Going to try and keep everything Original as possible
Tires: 27" x 1/4 (style similar to OEM) Recommendations needed
Tubes: 27" x 1/4 (better then OEM) Recommendations needed
Chain: Recommendations needed and welcome
Cables and Housings: Staying away from cheap
Brake Pads: Koolstop Salmons (just figured I would try something different)
Bearings: If any are worn/bad I am going to order Chrome Stainless Steel Grade 25 or better from a U.S.A. Company
Pedals: Going to try and stay with the same ones but may replace.

Other parts I will let ya know.
