Replacement for a Chin Haur Cartridge
#1
Hello All , I have gotten my first Bottom Bracket apart and the cartridge is shot . I need a replacement but from looking around on the internet it seems to be sorta hard to find.

The name on it is Chin Haur Numbers on it are BB CH46 and BC 1.37 X 24T also CT-L if it helps it also says "made in Taiwan and patent # 8478C That's the whole thing . If someone can decipher this I would be most grateful .. Thank Again , Don J.

Ye Asked Ye shall receive! http://www.chinhaur.com.tw/about.php . It does not list that certain one but if you contact them I am sure they can send you information. See if they still make that model too Wink .
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

I wouldn't worry too much about getting the same make, provided the new one is the same type and dimensions it will be fine.

Here is probably everything you ever wanted to know about bottom brackets: http://sheldonbrown.com/bbsize.html
