Training wheels vs Balance Bike
#1
Anybody taught their kids to ride in the last few years? My daughter had a lot of trouble transitioning from training wheels to actually riding the bike, so now that my son is four I'm trying to go straight to two wheels. I had him on a balance bike (no pedals, low seat) for a while last year, and now I have a handle mounted on the rear axle of his real bike to keep him upright while I run along with him. He's doing pretty well after 3 days, but I was wondering if anybody's been through this and might have some advice...
