BBI School in Colorado Springs.
#1
Hi - first time poster here...

I'm considering traveling to the USA to do some of the courses offered at the BBI in Colorado Springs.
I have been looking for world class qualifications here, but they do not exist (New Zealand / Australia)

Can any of you out there offer comment on the quality of Qualifications gained at the BBI - I know the best way to learn is get hands on experience in a shop with a great mechanic, but I would like a good understanding and technical qualification first.

Also, if you know of any other options apart from BBI, please feel free to suggest them.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions offered.
Cheers.

Hey! I was about to ask the same question, except coming from Canada not NZ. There doesn't seem to be any bike schools here that go above the recreational level. I'm hoping the course would help me get a job as an engineer with a bike company.

I just thought I'd mention that I worked at a bike shop with a guy from Australia who had taken some sort of bike mechanic course there. He was good at servicing forks, so I'm assuming the course was as in depth as BBI's, even if it wasn't as reputable.
