Rear hub on 26in next la jolla single speed

got it apart and a bearing fell out in pieces! worked on cars and heavy equipment my whole life, but this thing has got me confused! It's a coaster brake single speed and I can't find an illustrated parts breakdown anywhere on line, HELP, nice bike weather is here....

Well, the bearings are loose ball cup and cone bearings (well, most likely). Check the hub overhaul page for more info.

This is a Suntour diagram. Unlikely you have that brand, but most coaster hubs are pretty similar:
