What are the benefits of a dropper post for mountain biking?
#1
I've had my new bike with a dropper for about 6 months now, and the major benefit I've found is going downhill and dropping it to adjust my body so my butt is back behind the saddle.

This has improved my technical ability on downhill tracks.

What benefits have you got from your dropper post?

The dropper post is the single most beneficial upgrade you can ever make on a mountain bike, it will allow you to descent with so much more confidence with the seat out of the way and climb with so much ease since your saddle is on the right height and not a compromise between the two. Welcome to the real start of your mountain biking career @Flowrider
