Anyone Else Getting Back Into Mountain Biking This Season?
#1
Hey everyone,
I have been getting the itch to get back on the trails again and was wondering if anyone here is also gearing up for the new season. I am not aiming for anything crazy just some local trails, a bit of climbing, and mostly getting that good out in the woods feeling again.
If you have got any beginner-friendly trail recommendations, gear tips, or even just stories from your recent rides, feel free to drop them here. Always nice to hear what others are up to before heading out!Thinking of hitting my first trail this weekend weather permitting.Anyone else riding?

Hello @dhoni4037, What area do you live and ride in, and what kind of trails do you have? What bike do you ride?

One of the best things you can do is join a riding group—not only to learn beginner tips, but also to discover nearby trails and make riding buddies. I used to live in the Boston area and rode with Charles River Wheelworks, AMC rides, and similar groups. Meetups are also great, and local bike shops will sometimes host weekend rides or skills workshops.

Let us know—I'm sure someone on the forum is from your part of the U.S.

Hi @dhoni4037, how's it all going with your comeback?

I co-run and personally run 2 mountain biking groups here on the Sunshine Coast in Australia, and for sure, being out on dirt tracks in Nature is the way to start any day!
