Philodo H8 5000W

Have a out 300 miles on a Philodo H8 5000W. A couple of times, after turning it on, it flashed "12" for a few seconds. Anyone have a clue?

I have no idea, but it might be very specific to your make and model so only others who own your same bike might know. It could mean anything: voltage level, approx. usage hours remaining, approx. charge hours, etc.
Is it malfunctioning in any way? You did not mention if there were any problems other than the "12" flash. Did you obtain it new or used (with manual)? How old, how many miles, etc.? Ever ridden/stored in wet conditions?

If new enough (or not) contact customer service, and refer to operator's manual if available (you should be able to view one online).

There are dedicated ebike forum sites that may be of more help so I suggest posting your issue on at least one of them. Just search "ebike forums" and I'm sure 3 or more sites will appear.

Simple things are to check electrical connections, battery terminals, etc. Clean and dry; seal if applicable. Look for abnormal wear (chafing, corrosion), water intrusion, etc.

I appreciate the response. I checked all that. It's a new bike, and I was caught in a rainstorm with it, but it was advertised as being rated for such things. There are no error codes in the manual that cover this. The company said to check the brake cable connectors, which I did, but they seemed fine. Guess I'll keep looking. Thanks.

It's a sensor electrical problem, which you might be able to solve by checking and/or cleaning connections.
