Cannondale 29er
#1
I've posted pictures of my long-tail cargo-hauler, but I thought I'd show a little love for the bike that I use as my daily ride.

It's a 2009 Cannondale 29er 4, slightly modified for use as a commuter. I just raised the handlebar, swapped the stock seat for one with a little more padding and added a rear rack. I use fenders during Winter and Spring, but I've pulled them off for now.

And one showing more of the decals Cannondale plastered all over the bike. Unfortunately, the decals are under the clear coat, so there they'll stay.

Do you find that the larger 29" wheels make much difference when compared to 26"?

It makes a difference, yes. It helps smooth out the small stuff, and gives you a little extra clearance. As a bonus, it makes other bikes look tiny. Smile

29ers are the way to go. I'm buying a new bike soon and it'll be a 29er. I've test rode a few now and its awesome.
