Hydration tablets/powder with no junk? (sweetener, etc)
#1
Can anybody please recommend an hydration powder or tablets with no junk in it like artificial sweeteners, humectant (Sorbitol) etc?

I really don't care what it tastes like, I just want the electrolytes without crap like Sorbitol, Aspartame, Steviol, etc.

Yes, I know I could create my own, but I'm looking for something that comes packaged in sachets or tablets (ideally) for easy use/packing on extended bikepacking trips.

TIA

@enkei, I use Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS). Recommended by WHO, ORS is vital in the developing world when people lose fluids—whether from diarrhea or, in my case, from intense workouts, pushing my bike, or heat.

They’re affordable and widely available. This packet, from a pharmacy in Nepal, costs just 10 NPR (about 0.07 USD).

The ingredients are simple: salt and sugar.

I carry a few and use them when my black riding shirt or backpack shows a white sweat coating....:-)

These are one of the best, anything you have available locally that is commonly used to alleviate symptoms of diarrhea are great for endurance sports

I don't think there is anything better in the electrolyte world than Key Nutrients, provided you're okay with a bit of Stevia in the form of ribaudioside.
