Fox 36 Grip Rhythm weird clicking sound ?
#1
Weird clicking sound. I dont think it affects performance but its really anoying. It doesnt only happen in the beginning of the stroke but also once it settles into sag and i compress it further i can still hear it. My question is what could be the cause of this and also, will it be an expensive repair ? Big Grin Thanks

Here is a video of the clicking sound: https://imgur.com/a/GWxkq04

Sorry I can't say really.

First thing I would try is to remove all the pressure from the fork and then bring it back up to spec.

Unfortunately the video has no sound on my machine. Not sure why. It makes the same sound while riding as well, or is it just when you have the front brake on?
Have you isolated the noise to be emanating from the fork and not from cables or brake?
I know this is not an answer, but is the inspection work required to get to the answer.

Its definitely the fork, also happens while riding. There should be an sound icon in the top right corner to enable sound in imgur. Thanks!

You might need new seals then. That shouldn't cost too much.

Take it up to your local bike shop and ask about it since it's not a job you can do yourself.
