Not shifting into certain rears!!!
#1
Recently my Giant avail road bike isn't shifting into the largest chain ring on the front and the largest two chain rings in the back! What could the issue be? Also, shifting down on both derailleurs takes a large amount of pressure on the levers.

Could be several things. Check a video on this site or Google "adjust derailleur" and look first at parktool.com/blog and Sheldonbrown.com results, or if one is available get help at a local bike co-op.

When things are hard to move it's usually a problem with friction. The shift cable/housing connects the lever to the derailleurs, so that's the most likely culprit.
