Any shifters that can accept the cable without threading it through?
#1
Hi all, my mum's bike uses a 3 speed sturmey archer gear and it uses a special long brass nipple at the end of the cable to stop it from passing through. I can't be bothered to explain it just that it is nicely setup and I don't want to have to replace any cables, ect.

I just want a gear shifter that can be installed nipple-end, without having to **** around dismantling the cable just to be able to thread it through the shifter housing.

So anyone know a shifter that can accept the cable at the nipple-end, lever or grip shift I don't mind.
