Yes I read about that this morning and will probably follow up on it. Glad to hear of a modern day small time garden shack person like us make it big! Reminds me of when the bamboo bikes came out. Smile.

Can you imagine how rough of a ride that prototype is? No give in the forks, frame, wheels or solid tires. He looks like he goes about 220lbs if he's a little under six feet tall. He must ride on glass roads or have no nutsticles. If you read the entire article it is an incredible thing he is planning. How he's going to do it is more impressive than the product itself.
If he puts a factory here I'll bet they run close to $100/unit. Just the liability insurance might kill it here.

From the sounds of it he is doing it mostly to help those in need more than anything else, but true I see where they talked of profit. Besides the media's normal BS hoopla set aside I really think this guy is doing it out of kindness!
