Yokota bike identification
#1
I recently acquired a Yokota bike from a friend at work that needs a lot of work and I can't find much out about it. I think it says Merced for the model. Does anyone know anything about this brand or bike? If it's worth it I want to make it into a road or commuter though I think it's more a MTB frame.

Here's a few pics I snapped. Sorry they are not the best.

Some specs I've calculated:
Hubs: 100/135
Wheels: 700c
Frame size: 56cm (I think)
