No, his performances were thrilling to watch. Historical perfromance!
It was a bit boring at times, but still impressive.

Pogačar's 2024 dominance

Hey!
We're closing the 2024 road cycling season (basically, it's over) and it was marked by Tadej Pogačar's dominance: Giro, Tour de France, World Championship, Lombardia, Strade Bianche, Catalunya ... it felt like Tadej's gonna win every race he'll enter.

While many fans are thrilled to see his historical performance, others argue that it’s taken away some of the excitement we love in cycling. What do you think? Did Pogačar's dominance make the 2024 season less fun and more predictable? Will he sustain it in 2025?

I think its really exciting, its always very interesting to see a very dominant athlete in any sport, like the time Jordan was active in the NBA, Pacquiao and Mayweather dominating boxing (I still think Pacquiao is the GOAT here) or even Phelps in swimming. It's exciting to see what new highs they would reach and how long they can keep going at it, and eventually retire and pass the torch to the next generation. looking forward to Pogi reaching new highs and eventually passing down the torch to someone even better than he is

I think it's great to live in an era featuring such a stellar performer. And here's the thing: if Pogačar didn't exist, we would still have several top riders whose abilities are of historic proportions.

And yet, he's put them all in the shade. That really is mindblowing.

That's well written!

Seeing him crush the KOM of Coll de Rates makes me wonder how high his ceiling is going to be in 2025.

Thanks! It must really suck to have to compete against him. Imagine being so good and still not being able to keep up.

Pogacar is thrilling to watch! Although I admit that I often root for the underdogs in many sports. It's mostly in Formula 1, however, where I've grown bored by the recent streaks of dominance - Vettel, Hamilton, and now Verstappen.

He keeps on performing in 2025!

Pogacar proved he's also a human by crashing but the comeback was strong as always, although Pidcock decided to wait. No chance for him to survive riding solo.

Today's Milan-Sanremo was quite something to watch!
One of the most exciting races in recent years. All three big favorites - Pogačar, Ganna & Van der Poel - came together in the last 20km. Pogačar went for attacks on Cipressa and Poggio but MVDP was very powerful. Ganna's recovery and the 3-man finish sprint ... ah, it was fun. I'm very happy for MVDP.

Bookies top favorites so far are:

*** Mathieu Van Der Poel
** Tadej Pogačar, Wout Van Aert
* Jasper Philipsen, Mads Pedersen, Filippo Ganna

Yesterday, Pogačar did another crazy solo ride in the Tour of Flanders ...

Did you guys see Tadej's post on instagram a few months back, he was riding cobblestones but looked as if he was floating thru them and the comment section was full of riders in the pro peloton asking him not to join Paris-Roubaix? crazy stuff haha

I just watched Paris Roubaix. Tadej's first attempt. He and von Der Poel were heading for a finish together, but Tedej overshot a turn and could never pull him back with 30k to go. Three in a row for Mathieu. Congrats.
