@paulus50 Your frame appears to have been repainted. It might not be a Guerciotti. Are the fork crown embellishments decals or painted engravings? Is there a "star" cut-out in the bottom bracket shell or any pantographs on the seat stay caps? What is the seat post diameter? Without better photos showing details it is hard to say much about it. I am unaware of any Guerciotti frames of that era made with Reynolds tubing (possibly incorrect decal applied after repaint). The BB shell should be 70mm wide and the threading should be Italian (36mm x 24tpi). I suspect that the frame was rebadged as a Guerciotti upon being painted. It might still be an Italian frameset, but not the brand indicated by the decals. Year is circa mid '80s to mid '90s. Again need more complete photos to better determine its age. I am fairly certain that Guerciotti was using Columbus "SL"/"SLX" type tubing for their 80s frames ("SP", "SPX", "MATRIX"/"CROMOR" tubes might also have been used depending on frame size and/or model); possibly also used Oria tubing later on. I would assume it has Campagnolo drop-outs if a top tier model regardless of actual brand. It is possible that the previous owner was unaware of what the bike is other than by the decals unless the prior owner had it from new or was the one who repainted it. Depending on the frame size, components, and accessories the bike should weigh about 20 to 22 pounds. My Guerciottis are alloy ALAN frame bikes so it's hard to compare between our frames.
