Husqvarna bikes
#1
Greetings!

I live in Germany now (Bremen) and am looking to buy a bike for everyday use (comute, groceries, eventual day trips).
Looking around (online, mostly fahrrad-xxl), I found Cube, Bergamont, and Husqvarna as options that would fit my budget (<1000).

There is little to none discussion about Husqvarna bikes out there. Do you have any advice on the following (Husqvarna) bike?
I am also looking for those options:
Any advice is much welcome. Thank you

In my experience the quality of suspension forks on bikes at this budget level makes them little more than needlessly heavy components that don't provide much improvement in ride comfort. For the activities you outlined, I do not believe you need a bike with suspension. The bikes you listed aren't designed for serious off-roading, so you shouldn't be riding anywhere that really needs suspension. In any case, those bikes all have huge tires, so the ride should be comfortable. Most of them are 47mm. Most of my bikes only have 28mm tires, and even my gravel bike, which I ride on very rough ground, only has 43mm tires.

I recommend visiting your local bike shops to discuss your needs, and instead of wasting money on a low-quality suspension fork, put that money toward a higher-quality bike. As far as I know, Bremen has an excellent cycle path network.
