Cyclocomp Mounts
#1
Recently got back into seriously training for epic endurance rides like Audax and events similar to it and quickly found the value in using a proper gps cyclocomp(for connecting to Strava) to keep track of training progress and goals.

Stuff like Garmin, Magene & Bryton have come with hard plastic mounts that I find tacky so I have been looking alternatives like https://www.jrc-components.com/ for mounting options

So the question is, what do you guys use? Any other alternatives?

What about ones that strap down to your stem?

Yeah I used to be a fan of those too until the cycle comps got bigger and bigger like our phones!

Wow, $49 for that HB mount is pretty steep. 😂

I have purchase several styles and colors on ebay. One, the Race looks almost identical to the one in the link.

I pay $10 to $15 depending on the model. All aluminum as well. Some other action camera mounts I've paid about $7. Close to the $59 model I purchased years ago when I didn't know better. 😄

I also like the aluminum screws that are used to attach the light or a gopro. (red screw attaching light in the image)

I love the footage that you took in your other post, is the camera mounted on this while you were riding? that would be pretty awesome if it is , thanks for sharing
