"No Contest,’ was handed a ‘Deferred’ sentence, and paid $82 in court costs. The charge was later dismissed."
Wow, I'm not sure if the same outcome would have occurred if it involved a pedestrian or another car.
I always give the benefit of the doubt to other motorists because, as a cyclist, I don't feel like I belong on the road where bigger and more powerful metal-armored, air-bagged vehicles operate. That's why I love riding in the mountains, but unfortunately, not every destination has a mountain or trail to ride on. :-(
This is truly sad. I would love to learn and understand more about this case and the judgment.

This is so bizarre. Dry road, bright clothing and on the side of the road. Not even a case of DUI. It's unfortunate and so irrational that such a thing could happen.
