Best Warmshower's or a stranger helping out experience

Hello All,

I hope you all are enjoying the Christmas with family, friends and trying to stay warm.

I got introduced to Warmshowers sometime last year and enjoyed my stays with fellow riders, human-beings who go out of their way to help you, give you an experience of home (when we are away from our own).

I experienced a few Warmshowers back in US, more in Colombia and then in Ecuador. So, I wanted to hear about your Warmshowers experience or when a total "stranger" helped you and taught you that the world isn't as dangerous as we fear it to be.
