Cycling motivation through the dark months

Here we go again - the dark months are back and again we're faced with short days, low temperatures, high winds and deciding to get outside on the bike can seem more tricky that it should.
With indoor training/cycling becoming more prevalent and easier to do in your own home we must never however lose the focus and the joy that cycling outside can bring us on so many levels.
Here's a short article i've written to help keep you motivated and keep you wheeling outside through the dark months and continue enjoying all the benefits of cycling outside...

In snow country it is possible to ride, but not much and only on the weekends in the early morning before traffic gets going. I personally replace riding with XC skiing or riding my indoor trainer while listening to music or watching a racing video.

Jeffg, no snow here in Las Vegas, NV. Or if it does snow it melts quickly.

I really enjoy riding in the fall, winter, and early spring. Summer time is a chore to ride, as it can be 90°F @ Sunrise and over 100°F less than an hour later...
