InSync Grind 320
#1
Hello,

I have a pretty old bike - Trek Alpha 4100 - with a very old suspension - coil-based InSync Spinner Grind 320. I'd like to open it up fully for cleaning and greasing, by separating the stanchions from the lowers. The coil-side stanchion has a screw going through it that doesn't allow it to separate from the lower. The screw is screwed into the lower, from inside the stanchion. Is anyone familiar with this suspension? If so, do you know what size bit is needed to unscrew that screw? I already have a 14" socket holder extension that I can use to actually reach the screw as needed. I attached a photo looking down from the top of the stanchion. Thanks!

Cheers,
~alex
