Shimano forced to shut Malaysia factory
#1
"Shimano's factory in Malaysia will be completely closed until at least June 14 due to an official COVID-19 mandate. Since June 1, the factory had been allowed to operate at 60% capacity."

The article: https://www.bicycleretailer.com/international/2021/06/10/shimano-forced-shut-malaysia-component-factory-latest-blow-supply-chain#.YMYmoDb7SRt

Is it also hard for you to find the necessary Shimano components online or at the LBS? Here you have a factory that is operating at slightly above 1/2 capacity and now has a full-stop for a few days.
