Hello all, I'm not very good at introductions, never have been, so please bear (where's a nice polar buddy when you need one) with me. I've been away from bikes for quite a few years and am returning now because my SUV was fatally injured by a patch of black ice on the downside of an overpass. It was a somewhat interesting experience to find my SUV ricocheting from one side rail to the other and back, ending up in a snow berm (fortunately, there were no other cars anywhere near me). She, Snowbird, was pronounced DOA by the insurance adjuster a few days later; the accident occurred at about 5:30 pm on Dec 31; I'll admit to a few different ways to start off a New Year; but, this one took the cake, for me anyway. I decided I was done with car payments, so I'm looking to get an eTrike. I am open to suggestions. I wish I could move back up to one of the rural villages I worked in above the Arctic Circle. Up there, it was all about 4-wheelers and snowmobiles, and I loved it; almost as good as riding a horse. So far, the best trike that I can find so far is a Raliegh Tristar. It is rated by BikeRide with a "76". So, I will be open to your suggestions as I plunge into a new mode of transportation.
By the way, could someone please correct the spelling of my handle; I apologize; I am terrible at remembering to take the 'caps lock' off. Thanks a bunch.ksh
