New LA commuter

Hi, I'm new here. Originally from Sweden but moved to LA almost 2 years ago. Trying not to add to the morning traffic mess by taking the bike, which also ends up being faster

How is the bike traffic in LA?

Coming from Sweden I'm very surprised that more people doesn't bike to work and close by stuff, considering it's flat and good weather almost all the time. I think it's a little bit of a chicken and the egg situation where not many people do it because there are not that many bike lanes but it's also sad to see bike lanes that very few are using.
